Time can only tell

Will you still love me when the end is closer to the beginning
Or my hair has been lost like a child's baby tooth
Will you still love me when the colors from my cheeks have drained into a pool thats forever spinning
Will our love stand through the decades since youth

Our dreams and quests may differ
And the paths may spiral or be indeed lame
Will the love still bind us together?
For the looks may change but the heart eternally stays the same

As your handsome looks mature
And your mane turns into snowy locks of hair
Your heart stays forever pure
And your eyes hold permanent care

For your eyes speak from the soul within
And your heart bleeds of innocence and truth
Your voice is the music of a golden violin
My love for you is like glue holding together each piece of our youth

If the winds may blow a different way
And the tides change hue
Winds or waves I shall love you still
As long as your eyes remain true
