Serenity

This knifes bin there for me
In times of need unlike you
These cuts console me more
Than your face could ever do
Unlike your plastic promises
I need something that is real
Maybe this isn’t the answer
But after it at least I can feel

Here I am again, knife in hand again
I hope one day it will all be the same
As it was before all this sh*t started
Before our souls were ripped and parted
Before I lost my mind and lost us as well
Hope is just for dreamers only time to tell

Thoughts
Thoughts burn brightly through dark
They also darken the most sunlit rooms
They leave holes in your very being
And keep you up at night fearing dreams
Dreams of a lost chance and hurt bought
Savour the moment for it wont last long

Feelings
Feelings let us express us at our truest
But not without a tole taking price
Sadness, depression hurt they are feelings
Feelings, which burn you from the inside
Good feelings should be kept like a photo
Kept on a shelf and looked at everyday

Maybe we all feel dead sometimes
But in truth without love, feelings
And the thoughts that we all have
To be without them we’d be truly dead

"This knifes bin there for me" should be:
"This knife bin's there for me"

and "But not without a tole taking price" tole should be "toll".

I thought that some parts of this poem seemed a bit disconnected, but then again, it isn't necessarily your job to connect them, but rather the reader, so this was pretty good stuff.
