He could not

by miss insecurity   Jun 11, 2007

He could not see,
Yet he was watching.
He could not hear,
Yet he was listening.
He could not smell,
Yet we were sweating.
He could not taste,
Yet we were kissing.
He could not feel,
Yet we were touching.

He could not appreciate what he had and still cannot,
Not like you.

He couldn't read between the lines,
Hear the truth behind the lies,
Smell the roses he had not bought last week,
Or taste the tears upon my cheek.

He couldn't feel the pain I felt and still cannot,
Not like you.

**yeah guys i apologise that this may be a bit confusing :]

its basically about a boyfriend who is neglectful, takes things for granted and uses people..
its about how sometimes people look at you but they never really see who you really are..
and never try to find out.. :[

i hope that helps XD**
