My Walls

All my walls seem to fall,
as we speak once again,
I'm so helpless in your arms,
and so lost in your eyes.

The lock the protected my heart,
broke the day you came into my life,
you've made me lose my barriers,
and I opened my gates to you.

I hid from the world,
behind the barriers I built,
I used them to protect myself,
from the outside invaders.

The barriers of my past,
crumbled down to the last brick,
you proved me wrong,
you showed me that I could love.

As I start to built my barriers up again,
you made them come crashing back down,
my only protection hit the ground,
and you made me open up to you.

I was hidden in my walls,
no one to trust but myself,
lost in the confusion of what to do,
and you made all my walls come crashing down.
