Ballerina of Destiny

Ballerina of Destiny
It's time to dance to the next stage,
it's the moment you've been waiting for,
your teenage years have finally hit,
Try not to trip; you're a ballerina.

Being a ballerina is your life,
it's your destiny to move on,
you're headed onto the next stage,
Try not to fail; you're a ballerina.

You've reached your mid-twenties,
you've become the ballerina always wanted to be,
you're center stage,
Try not to learn control; you're still a ballerina.

Destiny is waiting for you,
you've came to your thirties,
you met the man of your dreams,
Try not to lose yourself; you're still a ballerina.

You're almost forty with three kids,
your dreams have come true,
but destiny has other plans for you,
Try not to forget who you are; you're the same ballerina.

You're in your fifties with three teenagers,
they're graduating high school,
and starting their own lives,
try to still guard them; you're the same ballerina.

Your sixties already past you by,
your skin is so aged and hair snow white,
your grand kids ask the story of your life,
Try to tell them; you're a ballerina of destiny.

I like how it's portraying this aspect of aging, growing old, stuff like that but I guess it didn't flow that great to me. It's an unusual concept but one that actually works quite well. It doesn't seem like there's regret just making it all another part progressing smoothly. Other than the flow nice write.
