Looking in the Mirror

by Alicia   Jun 11, 2007

Behind my happy smiles,
Even behind my eyes.
Take a look deep down inside,
Show me what you find.
The bruised one placed in me,
The one that cant cope.
The one that wants to be free,
Another where life's a joke.
The heart in me that is forever red,
That place thats always blue.
The piece that doesn't think before what it says,
The side that doesn't even have a clue.
The part that thinks I'm right,
But the other knows I'm wrong for sure.
The one who always wants a fight,
The side that cant go on anymore.
The coward in the fighter,
The genius in the dumb.
But parts thats filled with laughter,
Or the parts that have no fun.
So while i look in this mirror on the wall,
I look so i can see.
And hopefully it reflects it all,
Every part of me.
