March On

This poem is about a young soldier realizing the lies he has been fed..he wants to give up but is unable to.(I wrote this for my brother who is in the army).
Sheena helped me quite a bit with this and many thanks to her for doing so.

No longer your own,

listen to my voice,

no second choice,

March on soldier.

Go fight,

turn from the dreadful sight,

March on soldier.

Stop deceiving,

we'll end your grieving,

March on soldier.

Freedom without decay?

take heed to what I say,

March on soldier.

Give mom one last kiss,

this was never her wish,

March on soldier.

Stand for what you believe,

Swim in the soul less sea,

March on soldier.

Death can be an obsession,

with war don't ask questions,

March on soldier.

    Wow , you should like send this to hallmark for people who want to send their loved ones in the war saomething, or send it to a program thatll send it to them... this is really good, and any soldier would be soo proud of you for writting this,

    This is a really strong poem, Brittany. It's short, but says a lot.
    I know your brother is at war, so writing about this must have meant a lot for you.
