No Stars

The night was turning crimson red
demons crawled onto my bed
Lying here scared and confused
Knowing I broke all the rules

Keeping count on every corpse
all my faith was pushed off course
Never knowing what I had inside
But I never screamed and never cried

Why could I not find my self
Wishing I could go to hell
Burn to ashes in the fire
Hear the words,"You're a liar!"

Every pill, I kept a list
All my pain, on my wrist
Staying close to the door
not knowing what was in store

The dark became my only friend
I was lost in the end
but when I looked up to the sky
I saw no stars, I found no light..
