She's really not ok

by Kellie   Jun 12, 2007

Playing on the safe side
Never crossing the line
Doing what she is told
Pretending everything is fine

Forcing a fake smile
Suppressing all the tears
Screaming on the inside
Dying for someone to hear

Shes afraid to be happy
Scared to let her guard down
Something bad will happen
If she doesn't wear a frown

Her family thinks shes happy
Or they pretend not to see
The pain in her eyes
That wont set her free

Deep down inside
Shes really wants to say
She wants to tell everyone
Shes really not ok
