A life

by naina   Jun 12, 2007

A good life was all what she wanted
But ironically she ended haunted
She wanted a life of fame
She ended living a life full of shame
She took some wrong turns in her life
And all she was left to do- was to strive
Misery and pain! she saw them all
And sadness kept taking her along

Thus one day she decided to end it all
Coz life had taken most of its toll
She collected all her guts
And she cried a lot first
Tears rushed out with speed
Wandering in the expanse of her beautiful sad face
They drip-dropped on her chest
She finally slit her wrist
Blood drew out bit by bit
Feeling nauseated she peeped through the door
She saw her mom working hard in the grocery store
She realized her mistake
Took a towel and wrapped it around her bleeding veins
Shedding all her tears away she applied make up to look better
She came out of her room, breaking all her painful fetters
