My Little Secret

by x Mo x   Jun 12, 2007

My heart remains silent.
So full of secrets of the past.
Even the silent pain
Of this love that lasts.

My heart skips a beat
When I see you there.
My lungs go numb
As you sit here without a care.

You can't hear my heart,
And you can't see my lungs
But you do hear the song
Of love that I just sung.

You look at me
With your dark brown eyes.
My thoughts go insane
Before I realize.

You look so innocent,
So young, so sweet.
But you don't even know
How much you sweep me off my feet.

My secret will be kept
Until the end of time.
Because loving you so much
Might be considered a crime.
