Happiness

by Rachel   Jun 12, 2007

A child laughing at a playground,
going so high on the swings,
thinking he can reach the heavens.
A popsicle on a how summer day,
eating it fast so it doesn't melt in your hand.
A rose in a field of daisies,
seeing the rainbow after the thunder,
happiness is where you least expect it.
You just need to keep your mind open,
and look for it.
Along with heartache, starvation, and poverty,
happiness is another thing in the world that will never run out.
