My Annabel Lee

by RetroRavey   Jun 12, 2007

In beauty, she is as Annabel Lee,
Though she is not dead
By the sounding sea,
Not by far.
She still lives,
Clinging to me as i hold her
Closer than the stars.
My hero eyes
kind and gentle love of mine
Seeking to be held in love
As she has love for me.
I hope to ring out
My truest truths to her...
Though she may be deaf to my words
As if encased
Bu unearthly sepulcher...
Though she is not dead,
My vision of Annabel Lee...
She still lives
In the kingdom by the sea.
(por siempre she lives
in the kingdom by the sea.

*inspired by the Edgar Allen Poe poem Annabel Lee*

Cool poem. It was different. The flow was good and I liked the format. I gave it a 5/5.
