The cool autumn breeze kisses my face While the falling leaves capture me in their embrace As my weary heart sleeps my body turns numb From the toes on my feet to the tip of my thumb So I lie here thinking and looking up at the sky My last breath escapes me in one last small sigh The trees all surround me grim and bare And I think I can taste winter in the air The world now around me so quiet and dead The pressure is a block thicker than lead As the sun rising soon to be dawn Everyone will look to find me, but I will be gone
