Far from a perfect world

Many think our world is perfect
Yet perfect it will never be
Its harsh and unforgiving
But its like the only one who noticed is me

The world is full of poverty
Of anger, guns and hate
Yet no one notices anything
And when they do it will be too late

Depression and anger are just a start
Yet they lead to violence and pain
It seems many dont know anything
And its driving me insane

They walk around with smiles
But there is nothing to be happy about
Someone, somewhere is dying
And it could be food or medicine they are without

It seems no one wants to help save anything
Not even the earth in which we live
Its dying underneath our feet
And its like not a care anyone gives

Because no one is helping
It seems perfect our world will never be
I wish is was not harsh and unforgiving
And hope the same someone else will see.
