Wanting for a love

Anger is all I see
when I close my eyes
let my mind run free
living in nothing but lies.

Making promises you can't keep
pulling my heart in deep
hoping I'll make it through
but this time without you.

Thought the world was bad
you walked into my life
then the wounds got deeper
with stabs from your knife.

Heart can't take but so much
from the cheating and lies
charming your way through life
using them cheap alibis.

Well this hearts broken
and it can't heal
wouldn't really understand
don't know how I feel.

You make it so hard
for me to trust again
love is like a wreck
can kill in the end.

So I took my heart
put it on a shelf
let it stay there
keep it to myself.

If I should die
I'll go away sad
