Bitter Sweet

by What A Beautiful Lie   Jun 12, 2007

He stared at me with an icy glare.
I stood their frozen with fear.
I remember how he once lit up my life.
I remember how I was the apple of his eye.
He was my first kiss and even my first love.
When I think back to all the times we shared it is bittersweet.
He made me learn one of the most painful lessons in life,
how to move on after having my heartbroken.
I am no longer frozen with fear.
I stand up tall and proud.
Then walk right pass him as though he were a stranger in the crowd.
