Stop Tryin'

by Lindsay   Jun 13, 2007

Everyone thinks that our lives are so great,
I wish for one day they could carry our plate.
If you could see underneath our smiles,
If you could feel the weight of our other halves pile.
Then maybe for once you won't wish for our life,
As soon as you see yourself dead in a tub from a knife.
You think the grass is greener on our side,
just because to you our dark feelings and thoughts hide.
You'll jump right back over that white picket fence,
as soon as you feel our pain and unconciousness.
We black out and wake up bleeding wishing we're dead,
because of what our other halves to us have lead.
They tell us to end it now no more fighting our fears,
but when we come to it only leaves us in tears.
You'd be scarred as hell to see what we see,
So from now on don't wish to be like Jenn and Me.

The expression of your feelings are felt in this write. Nicley done. It is very true that things are not always greener on the other side. Keep this in mind no matter how bad you feel that there is always someone out here that is going through similar experiences that you are going through or maybe even worse. So keep your head young lady know that there are people out here that are willing to listen and help you through your trying times. May your heart be filled with peace and joy each and everyday.
