I've never walked this road before,
But the questions are still the same.
I've never met these people before,
But the agony still remains.
I've never lost all that belongs to me,
But these people have lost everything.
I've never been poor and homeless,
But they only just exist by breathing.
I've never had to suffer from starvation,
But they can't recall the way food tastes.
I've always had someone beside me,
But some have nothing but rotten waste.
I've never realised how bad the World is,
Until I actually walked these war torn streets.
I never understood how screwed this is,
Until I removed the shoes on my feet...
*PS: This isn't from and actually experience of mine it was just inspired by 3rd World Countries... I haven't always had food or a home or even someone beside me for that matter.
