Chicken, or the Egg

by Michael D Nalley   Jun 13, 2007

A proud cock crowed while a duck just quacked
No egg is fertile where a union is lacked
Are eggs shaped by just a random evolution?
As day is created by complete revolution?

In our egg there lies a preordained soul
First, and foremost it is nature's divine goal
To select the silver seed to a perfection
Escaping the doom of a distinct rejection

Which came first the creation, or Creator?
The plane of truth awaits an aviator
A vision has not reached a single eye
Before the Light falls from the endless sky

Wow! Very well writen! Your vocabulary was superior and the flow was excellent. Honestly, I don't see anything to change. I love the aspect of "The creator or the creation", truly a very interesting topic. Outstanding work, keep it up!

    With all due respect,

P.S. You can honestly tell in your writing that you are an author, and it is a pleasure to meet another person that writes books.

The vocabulary in this poem was fantastic and the flow just the same, the word choice was absolutely perfect to say the least. The last stanza ends the poem very strongly, I especially liked the first 2 lines. Excellent job on a rather short poem 5/5 GG23
