My life

My life as been pretty full ,
I had a happy childhood.
Filled with many happy memories ,
nothing I would change even if I could.

I've dealt with many ups and downs ,
made decisions both right and wrong.
All thats happened in my life ,
in a way as made me strong.

When my parents split for a while ,
it hurt but I stayed stong for my dad.
I became mum to my brother ,
cheered him up when he felt bad.

The worst thing I had to deal with ,
was the death of my grandad.
i adored him like no other ,
his death for a long time left me feeling sad.

Life I learnt must go on ,
and I continued to learn along the way.
No one ever told me life was easy ,
and I'm thankful for each new day.

I have my family and friends ,
and they all mean the world to me.
I've no idea what the future holds ,
but a happy one I hope it will be.
