Lost

by Sarah Badr and Ganima Elghourani   Jun 13, 2007

Sitting here, freezing cold, waiting for to show up
I'm all alone with my bottle of coke and cup
You said that you would be back
What happened to me, what did i do wrong did i go off track
I sat there staring at my phone
I thought you would call, i thought you would never let me be alone
I was wrong, maybe i misjudged you
I mixed the words of unfaithful and true
Writing this poem doesn't change a thing,
It won't take the pain away or remove the sting
Through it all, i still sit there and think of your face
Everything and nothing won't remove your loves place
I am in deep, maybe even a little over my head
One tear, you never let me shed
So why now have you changed your old way
I thought so many times to talk to you but never came up with something to say.
I can't even think of how this poem should be completed
If you want to be in love, you should know how a women should be treated.
