Father

by martynsgirl   Jun 13, 2007

You were never there,
to witness what I have been through
always running, never caring
when I screamed for you.

I tried to reach you,
In my desperate hour of need.
You could have stopped the abuse
if only you cared about me.

The failure, the empty promises and deceit
you claim to be my father
but you have ran from the day i was conceived.
Anyone can be a father,
but the truth remains,
you refuse to be my daddy
because all you do is run away

I have needed you,
in my times of emotional agony
how does it feel to know
you have caused everything that has happened to me.

your a failure, a coward and a fool.
all my life you have walked away from me
well now I am walking away from you

  • I saw your quote...your poems aren't bad...they are very good...don't be stuck on needing others to appreciate your work...as long as you appreciate it then it will always be appreciated...the moment you lose that is the moment you lose a piece of yourself...good luck with the new family!

ps I'll be expecting more poems from you :)
