We Call It love

by brielle   Jun 14, 2007

As I stare into your eyes
On this afternoon
Basking in your arms
Never felt this good
Your half smile and faint laugh
Soothing my esteem
A feeling tearing me inside
Yeah we call it love

Another late night call
The clock reading one
And more tears shed in vain
Yes its time to talk
But we can work it out
We need to understand
Now we're moving on
Yeah we call it love

Yes we may be teens
Young though we are
Something seems more pure
Less tainted by life
Doesn't matter what you think
It's just what we believe
Even if it's not forever
Still we'll call it love

It annoys me how some of the older people look down at the youth as being too shallow to comprehend such a complex principle called Love. In which case, this was a beautiful piece. It was written quite well and progressed finely on the whole. Nice work. =]
