Beautiful Friend

by Elapsed   Jun 14, 2007

Be brave my dear,
Eternity awaits your legacy.
Agents of the dark grips you with fear,
Unshackle yourself and face this brutal world bravely.
Treasure the good times and forget the bad,
Ignite your passion and drive.
Feel fortunate with the experiences you have had,
Unwise is a life that never strives.
Loneliness dies though happiness.

Flourish in life and in prosperity.
Release all that you have to offer.
Imagine and dream passionately.
Endure and keep yourself far from danger.
Never loss sight of who you are
Demand the best and except nothing less.

Awesome!! I love every word... speaks tremendously of the strength it takes a person to go through a severe life change.
I left an abusive man of 9yrs, it's been a long 18 months for my daughter and I. But we never would have made it without the strenght of other people. Reminding us of exactly what your poem says. When I read these words,it is as though your speaking directly to me. ( I know your not) but please realize just how powerful those words are that you have written. How much it means to have a friend when you really do feel lost. Very very nicely written.
