Sorrow

God almighty, my heart is full of sorrow,
Why do I stand alone, why don't I follow,
My past is haunting me, I live in fear,
I need you God, you must make me hear.

God almighty, have mercy on my soul,
Help me learn your lessons and understand your goal,
Free me from all earthly desires in Jesus Name,
Let me feel the Holy Spirit, and stand in His blessed rain.

God almighty, I have sinned forever and a day,
Take control of my life; don't ever let me stray,
Change my life and heal my heart dear Lord,
Make me strong; teach me, to fight my demons with your two edge sword.

God almighty, I'm nothing without your guiding hand,
I pray to you Lord, carry me through my life's quick sand,
Lord Jesus you have written my name in Your Blood,
I'm waiting in this pit, praying to You to pull me up.
