Was it really all that bad?

I'm sorry if I was ever cruel ,
I'm sorry if I didn't understand,
I'm sorry if I turned you away,
Was it really all that bad?

I'm sorry if my broken heart is too much for you,
Your silence tells me I have lost you,
This much I know is true.
