Tic...Toc...
I look at the clock;
I sigh
You won't be showing
I cry
I wipe my eyes and carry on
Pretend to be happy once again
I walk down the dark street on my way home
Suddenly I get so dizzy, I don't know where I coming from
I go there every day
I go there and wait
You always call me later
"I'm sorry, baby!" is all you say
I lay on the ground
Silently, on this dirt mound
No one stops
Tic... Toc...
No one looks
Tic... Toc...
My heart stops
I see you pass
I open my mouth to yell
Oh- but not so fast.
A girl on your arm doesn't look so well
She kisses you so gently and smiles
I cry tears that could go for miles.
My world spins again
I've been threw enough, couldn't the spinning end?
Tic...Toc...
Guess what I'm back at the spot
Tic...Toc...
You'll never show...
Tic...Toc...
I can't believe it
Tic...Toc...
Your walking down the dock!
I run and hug you
I think it's only been a nightmare
You push me away
I was wrong... that was no nightmare- it was yesterday
You say your sorry
That I have no reason to worry
That girl is nothing
He reminds me I have his ring
I smile slightly at the ring
I stop. "Does it even mean a thing?"
"Of course" he replies
I shake my head, sick of lies
I take of the ring to see left a green band
I slap him with my other hand
I cry and hug him tight
"Please don't go... stay with me just tonight."
He pushes away again
"Don't touch me."
I cry harder
It grows darker
Oh not again
Tic... Toc...
I've been living in this racing clock
Some people call it the world
Tic...Toc...
It's far too cold
Like the metal of a clock
Tic...Toc...
I cry, I laugh, I feel like I want to die
He meant the world to me
His world was just she
Ding...Dong...
Look who didn't get an invite to the wedding
I take a knife
Shake thinking of the recent times in life
I turn to the clock
Tic...Toc...
I throw the knife in it
Tic... Tic... Tic...
