Walk A Little Straighter Daddy 'Childs View'

by CondescendingHeart   Jun 15, 2007

Walk A Little Straighter Daddy,
Please; Your Embarrassing Me,
Dont Start Another Fight Again,
Please Dad Agree.

Wake Up Now Daddy,
Please; Can We Go,
Im Scared Of These People,
Not One Do I Know.

Stand Up Straight Daddy,
Please; Do Your Buttons Up Right,
Those Are My Friends Over There,
Please Be Polite.

Be Nice Daddy,
Please; Do Not Yell,
Its Not Her Fault You've Been Drinking,
Its Not My Fault You Fell.

Straighten Up Daddy,
Please; Here Come The Police,
There Taking You In Again,
For Disturbing The Peace.

Come Home Soon Daddy,
Please; Im Missing You Here,
Im By Myself Again,
And Our Fridge Is Full Of Beer.

Dont Forget Me Daddy,
Please; There Taking Me Away,
They Said You're An Alcoholic,
And Your Lifes Disarray.

Walk A Little Straighter Daddy,
What You Did you did for me,
walk a little straighter daddy,
when your walking next to me.

Oh this is so sad...I have tears in my eyes...such a beautifully written, intense stunning ending, while at the same time so heartbreakingly sad...the pain and emotion in this piece gripped my soul...beautiful work.
