Bring Her Home (Tribute To Maddie Mcann)

by Jenni Marie   Jun 15, 2007

Snatched her right away
No one is there for her
This pain and confusion
Will be to much for her to bare

Everywhere I look it seems
Seeing pictures of her pretty face
Hoping and praying she's okay
Not sure this is the case

How could you do that?
Take that little girl away?
Do you have any idea
What her parents feel each day?

What kind of monster are you?
Do you even feel emotion?
Is she even still alive?
or lying somewhere broken?

So much hurt for a little girl
Bet all she wants is her mum
Don't you have any compassion?
Or are you completely numb?

When I think what you might've done
It makes me sick to my very soul
An innocent little girl left broken
When she should be completely whole

Please show that you're human
Don't leave her all on her own
Show come compassion and mercy
Please, bring Madeline home

**Everytime I read or hear anything about Maddie, my heart breaks a little more...I had to get my feelings out, this story has hit me hard...I pray she's okay and that she will be returned to her family...god bless her little soul**

Nice poem. The word choice was great. I gave it a 5/5.
