Memories

by aaaprill   Jun 15, 2007

Her thoughts are lost,

Her unspoken words are never found.

Their memories together are dying and fading inside.

She is forgotten but he is still in mind.

She thinks about him day and night.

Her thoughts are never spoken,

Just Lost deep inside her self.

Tears roll down her face and die on her lips.

The pictures of you and her have faded,

So they can never be seen again.

She takes one last look at that photo of you and her b4

it quickly dies and fades away into nothing.

She wipes the last tear from her eye, and tells her self

she will never cry her tears for you again.

Since you took exception to my last comment on your work, let me just say that THIS is how you should be writing. With passion, and feeling and good use of effective wording. I stand by what I said about your other poem, and you can hopefully take compliment enough that I think of this as a more exacting standard.
