A Lonely Soul

by Julie   Jun 15, 2007

A lonely soul she weeps her eyes show so much sorrow.
The bitter nights are so cold how she wishes for the morrow.

When daylight finally finds her she somehow finds a
way.
To ease the pain within her and make it through the
day.

If you look past her smile you can see her hidden
tears.
But only will she let them fall when the gloom of night
appears.

She's broken and shattered with a heart that just won't
mend.
The silence over whelms her, loneliness her only
friend.

That line had so much meaning for me ,for I am hiding behind that smile ,trying so hard to fight back the tears.Very well written well done!
