Our Secret

by Beautifully Broken   Jun 16, 2007

You whisper my name
you whisper that you love me
thinking i was a sleep
what's a girl to do
when a guy like you loves her
and she doesn't love you, but loves another
the irony of it all,
the one she loves
doesn't love her,
the way she wants and need him too
but i pretend to not hear
you say those words
pretending that I'm a sleep
i hear you fall asleep
the tears start to fall as you snore
i slip from your arms and bed
grabbing my things
too sneak out for i wont see the love in your eye when we wake in the morning
a simple note is all i leave
saying i had a good time
nest to the "c" i kiss
leaving my cherry lips
out the door i make it, before i look back
seeing you at your window looking out
knowing he would never chase me
just mourn the lost of what could be
