Just When

by RetroRavey   Jun 16, 2007

Just when the words
have lined up,
the heart that's been
heavy
is learning to hold on,
just when the puzzle
is starting to take form.

Something makes it's way
breaks into my heart
to pin it down,
takes my puzzle,
in progress,
and scatters the pieces
I worked so hard
To put together.

Just when joy
is beginning to take flight
the birds shot down.
My heart starts to love
then my heart's
ripped out.

Just when...
