Bloodless

by RetroRavey   Jun 16, 2007

Bandages across my fingertips,
Blood drips from lips
Like kiss of sin.

Bound to the pain,
To the downright deception...
Keeping on high
What you have never believed in.
Holding on tight
To who you're deceiving.
I'm not the one
Whose cuts are not bleeding.

Hate of heart and loss of sight
Blood falls in light
For all your life.

Interesting and powerfully written poem. Last stanza is greatest. This poem is short but you created incredible atmosphere.
    Well done! 5/5
