Double Rainbow

by Krazy   Jun 16, 2007

To see beauty, true pure beauty
is like catching a glimpse of a double rainbow
on a stormy summer night

this is what she is
as tan as old tea died paper
skin so smooth you feel no flaws
luxurious curves travel down her body
blue eyes, deep as tide-pools of devotion and mystery

upon first glance
you'll see the smile
silky brown hair touched with rays of red
lips delicate enough to wither at the touch
but in reality kiss more passionately than most

She's my double rainbow in the sky
my sunshine in the rain
her beauty surpasses all others
by lengths of shooting stars
she's my summer time sunset
who's love for me will never die

-with some help from my boyfriend, i wrote a poem about myself from his perspective, although i don't believe it all, he found it an amazing use of his simple words, so thank you babe, this is for you-

Wow I dont know why this poem doesn't have more comments. It's wonderful, most people would find it hard to write a poem that it just focusing on the good thigns about themselves. but the fact that you managed to pull it off without sounding conceited, or sarcastic says a lot about your writing ability.

"She's my double rainbow in the sky
    my sunshine in the rain
    her beauty surpasses all others
    by lengths of shooting stars"
