What Have I Become ...

by FountainsOfBlood   Jun 16, 2007

I stand silenced,
A witness to a suicide,
Of a forgotten angel.

Her body faint,
Lifeless to the people,
But alive to the shadows.

I watch her being taken,
To a place of sorrow for souls,
Were there's no tomorrow.

Looking over at the body,
I see she was me,
And I was her.

Is this real?
Am I really dead?
If so, what have I become?
