There are many miracles on earth,
But the most wonderful is a babies birth.
Just to hear a newborns first cry,
would make any man, woman, or child sigh.
A newborns face is so soft and pink,
To a family chain is added another link.
To watch a newborn baby drink its milk,
As you softly stroke its hair of silk.
To see it wrinkle up its little nose,
As it first discovers it's tiny toes.
A mother holding her child's hand,
As it first starts to stand.
As a child first learns to talk,
Or even when they first walk.
It's daddy's heart swells with pride,
As his child stands by his side.
