The One I Miss The Most

by Katie   Jun 16, 2007

The one I never got to see,
Is the one I wish to meet.
Everyone says I look like her mini me.
Cancer was one thing she couldn't defeat.

I don't like to think of times she suffered,
Even though those were times well remembered.
I love being told of times uncovered.
She enjoyed the month of December.

She loved to pick blackberries in the summer.
She made blackberry pie for her sister, Evelyn Comer.
Her favorite was the easter lily.
She always claimed her grandchildren were silly.

The one i miss the most is my Grandma Jean.
In her last days she was very lean,
But still had all her charms,
As she died in my mothers arms.
