My Daffodil (Acrostic)

Define a friend, who's true and kind is what the teacher said

All the words of virtue and love came gashing through my head

Friend is one who can make you smile, when you're depressed and feeling down

Friend is one you look for first when you're up there in a wedding gown

Only a friend would hold your hair while you're puking in the loo*

Defining a friend is an easy task, when Ive got a friend like you

Incredible is what you are, my heart you completely fill

Loving you is no surprise, you are my daffodil.

This is an acrostic poem, which means the first letter in every line make a word

(*loo means bathroom in British slang)

    Amazing. Really nice too. I never did one of these in school, but you just got me inspired. Toug i think mine would suck. lol. Great usage of words, and the way it was all arranged reminded me (since you mentioned daffodil) of a beautifully organized bouquet. hm, i like your user name too! Kakashi rocks! still, this poem was incredibly wonderful and truly defined what friendship is. Nice work. :-)

    This was a sweetly written acrostic poem, For your first you defined this so well. I loved the ryhme scheme. Your definiton of a friend was spot on. Choice of words strong and effective.
