God only can

by The Herald   Jun 16, 2007

You are god alone
wielding power from your throne
your majesties fill the sky
one day i know ill die

and when i reach above
surrounded by your love
I'll live together with you
and life shall begin anew

others say you don't exist
they claim you're nothing, but a myth
i know you do,
and i believe

"O what a tangled web we weave"
one of your creations said that
ain't it amazing?
and others continue their self-praising

they say that it's all their own doing,
you count for nothing
but I'm pretty sure your good book says,
"i can do all things..."

poetry, life and all the rest
just to be alive, i feel i am blessed
i know you hear me, and that you love me
and that one day,
i'll be with you truly
