Hurting Tonight

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Jun 17, 2007

Hurting tonight
Because of you
You say you don't
But I know you do

You hate him
Now, you're furious with me
You don't take the time
So you can't see

How much he cares
How much we're in love
How much I thank
God up above

You judge by appearance
Not by the heart
Now you are tearing
Mine all apart

Let me be happy
Please, let's not fight
Cause, Mom, you're the reason
Why I'm hurting tonight

You have really weird timing with this being posted now...because up until a few days ago i had been completely numb to my mom...and what shes done..and just..yeah, i love it...but hate it at the same time, its a rough position to be in the middle of your parents..i was lucky in the sense that mine seperated when i was two..so i never knew anything else..great work lindsay!
