She Comes Alive

by Danibears   Jun 17, 2007

She comes alive just to die
One way after another
Until the only thing felt is dust and tears
Maybe a couple forgotten words
Perhaps a lie or two
She'll leave behind two best friends
Who probably won't even shed a tear
Just lose the ear that listened
The heart that yearned for something new
The soul that tried to reach so many
And failed so greatly
So quickly
So swiftly
And she'll awaken, and think to herself, as she cries at night, "Why didn't my body die this time?"
