Children

by sadeyes   Jun 17, 2007

I see all the children outside to play
Not a care in the world At least not today
But little do they know what evil lies ahead
Pink puffy clouds are all that's in their heads
But what happens to their innocences
When the truth comes creeping in
Do we tell of the fear that in the world at no ends
Or do we let them go blindly
And just hope they'll be OK
Are we just to pray that they will live another day
Or do we hide them in the shadows
and hope we have their respect
Do we tell the truth or do we lie
Why should our children have to hide
Or do we break their innocence
And wonder what is best for them
And only hope that God is watching over them
