The War Poem

by Loserfacee   Jun 17, 2007

Oh My Dearest Wife, I Remember Those Days,
Those Days Where The Sun Never Shone,
Where Trenches Were Deatholes,
Each Of Us Dieing 1 Bye 1.

Oh My Dearest Sister, The Noise Is Making Me Sick,
I Can No Longer Take This Pain In My Head.
Soldiers Fighting For Peace,
Another Man Drops Down Dead

Oh My Dearest Mother, The Smell On Its Own Is Enough To Kill,
My Heart Is Filled With Such Sorrow.
Seeing Many Men Eat Their Last Meal
For Most There Will Be No Tomorrow.

Oh My Dearest Father I Hope I Made You Proud,
Pride And Passion, I Did What Was Right.
These Are My Final Seconds,
With The Gun To My Head I'll Say Goodnight.

Oh My Dearest Son, From All Your Family Here,
Your Not A Failure And We're Sorry You Had To Go.
But All Of Us Here Would Like To Tell You
You Are The Bravest Soldier I Know.

A good poem but i don't think it fits quite into the independence day category.
