Eyes of a child

by WiNgS Of StEeL   Jun 17, 2007

I still remember the world
through the eyes of a child.
those restless nights
the unending fights.
blood baths, battles of strength
The test of faith

though Ive tried to forget
so many secrets untold,
the moonless nights,
when i was sold.

i still remember the moon shining
its light of life down upon my skin
tattered, torn and broken
cuts, bruises and scars
rendered me useless.

As Day creeps its light back to hell
i hide in my room waiting for the
fists of hell to reap its fury
upon my delicate frame.

i still remember the world
through the eyes of a child.
moonless nights, terrible fights.
blood baths, fists of fury.

though all seems so much better now.
as i lie on the emerald grass,
reminiscing on those untold secrets.
