Daddys little girl

You always said don't worry,
just take it in your stride
a loving look in your eyes
a man with so much pride

you never told me of your pain
you never said a word
maybe you did though subtly, i guess i never heard
i need you here now more than ever
wishing that you'd leave never.
tears still flow like sheets of rain
and only you can ease the pain.

The years go by so very slowly
its not the same now dad
that guiding hand was always there
that cheerful smiling face
but now that you are gone
theres just a numb and empty space

god took you up and gave you a rest
i know he only takes the best
so although we are far apart
ill always have you in my heart

if only i could turn back time,
and say those tiny things to you
to tell you that i love you
But then i guess you knew.

In Loving memory of snow Grey! loving father and grandfather!...REST IN PIECE KORO!..
