Does It Matter

by Mr M   Jun 17, 2007

Whenever the pounding surf
Keeps us awake,
We consider the option of
Monogamy.
And while the fog, the heat,
Is too thick to be less than real,
We admit that annihilation is a possibility.
But does it matter?
Do we care what happens
After the sea comes to rest
As long as it rests with us?

Your poems have such a strange thing going on, and it just draws me right in. And your words aren't all terribly long, but they get the message across. And they all add to that weird quality I was talking about. =] Best wishes!!! I love your work.
