The painful past

by Qpid   Jun 17, 2007

There once was a prince who claimed to love a girl.
She amongst women, was a pearl.
He made her feel special, he took away her naivety.
Promising honesty, companionship and loyalty.

She gave in falling deeply and he kept he's word, Pleasing her greatly.
Not long after came the affairs and gone were the days Of long walks and sweet passion.

Agonizing memories of endless fantasies.
Torn was her heart and hurt seemed never to seize.
No longer was it a fairytale.the end was harsh.
They grew immensely apart and all that was left was their painful past.
