With coffee each morning staves off my sluggish body
It's creamy warmth oozing down my chilly tummy
The sweet aroma fills the air so fresh for the day anew
For a moment i am oblivious of a life immersed in woes
A coffee a day with friends so speaks of camaraderie
With chatters all a belly laugh from every one
So deafening to the ears enviably heard by passers by
Over a cup of coffee no one dares to leave so soon
A nook in my house i set for myself as my rendezvous
It's where i kiss my cup as i pour a warm coffee for me
I sit by it with it's hotness beaming with a smile of friendship
As its smoke waves at me with assurance of its warm hello
In coldness a cup of coffee gripped by my hand to shroud me on
My shivers send chills to my bones while i shake as i sip so warmly
In a snap the warmth travels to every inch of my body as a relief
A few granules amazingly gives my soul the aid to calm down
Coffee for every body for people from all walks of life
Enough to feed the hungry so well to quench the thirst
A poor man's delight a rich man's fave a drink for mankind
Over a cup of coffee nothing would go wrong for all.
